The importance of intuition in the design process
Hear from Creative Director, Luke Carson, on the importance of intuition in the design process.
Einstein famously said, “Intuition does not come to an unprepared mind” – a statement which rings particularly true in the world of design. Essentially, intuition is the ability to understand something instinctively without the need for conscious reasoning. A few of our favourite lines
Surprising no-one, designers don’t just look to other designs/designer blogs or competitor landscape audits for inspiration to their tasks at hand. And, over the last year, there has been one consistent stream of influence for the DxB family. Whether it be discussing the best lines from the most recent Game of Thrones episode, or listening to our favourite shows or movies, a well-worded sentence has been the launching platform for many ‘a-ha’ moments. We drop these lines into presentations as personal jokes, or to simply provide a further cultural reference that justifies a particular design decision. We even take these well-worded snippets of wisdom and adopt them into our own tags.
